.....root of all evil! That was the topic I chose in a college class many years ago. One can argue either side rather effectively but who really cares.
Last week I attended the North American Leadership Conference sponsored by the Promotional Products Association International. It was the most exciting conference that I had attended in a long time. Business owners and high level execs gathered to network, discuss issues and learn. There was a leading economist who walked us through the current economic conditions and his forecasts going forward. Now there are only two kinds of forecast, lucky and lousy, so I was a bit skeptical. However this guy was quite convincing. Track me down in 2028 and we'll see just how good he was.
The second day I spent some 4 hours or so with Giovanni Gallucci THE Social Media Expert. Twitter, facebook, diggs, adwords, search engines ......a crash course in the whys and how to's associated with achieving social media excellence. Remarkable in every way.
Technology continues to empower us. Be it on a personal level or in business. We, as individuals, have at our finger tips such powerful tools. There are no excuses for not embracing technology. All too often folks tend to claim ignorance and defer to the younger people.
All too often that attitude is simply not acceptable.
stay on the offensive and celebrate the small victories
