Living in the past....

....can be detrimental to your "relevance".

The other day I had a telephone conversation with a complete stranger. Someone I had never met albeit was aware of who they were. As it is we are on opposite sides of an issue. Completely at opposite ends. 

As he shared his thoughts the caller, all too often, brought up "in the old days", "the way it used to be", and "that wouldn't happen in my day".

Sad.
