Back in April I was catching up on my on-line feeds when I came across a posting by Charlene Li. Charlene, a coauthor of the bestselling book Groundswell, was offering an "advance reading copy" of her new book Open Leadership. One was directed to another site to view the criteria to be met in order to receive the book. Well, at first glance, I didn't really meet the criteria. So in the comments section of the request I simply stated my case. Confessing to being an old dog who could learn new tricks not to mention having a keen interest in leadership.
Lo and behold, several days later, the book arrived. THANK YOU Charlene.
Surprisingly, this week, a copy of the finished product arrived as well. Once again demonstrating the power of asking!
